Description: A rare, medium-sized scorpionfish with a brownish, mottled colouration, a white spot on the upper end of the operculum, and numerous red to brown spots on the cheek. Large spinous head and fan-like pectoral fins.
Global Distribution: Madeira, Azores and Canary Islands.
