Description: A moderately large rockling, with a narrow head. Brown dorsally, with off-white reticulations on head, a pale longitudinal band along the second dorsal fin, and another pale, bur broader, sinuous band along the upper flank. Lower flank and ventral area creamy coloured.
Global Distribution: Eastern Central Atlantic. Recently it has also been detected in the Mediterranean.
