Description: An abyssal grenadier. Stout body, tapering rapidly behind trunk into a thin tail. Snout tip almost vertical; upper profile of the head concave over the eye; then humped from to the end of the dorsal fin. Brownish.
Global Distribution: Eastern Atlantic from Bay of Biscay to the Canary Islands.
