Description: An abyssal grenadier with bulky head and small eyes, the body tapering to a long slender tail. Scales reduced to rounded spiny buttons. Brown coloured.
Global Distribution: Northeast Atlantic: northeast of Mid-Atlantic Ridge, east of Great Meteor Tablemount.
